Skala Polichnitou
Skala Polichnitou, where our rooms are located, is the port of Polichnitos village, a modern anchorage and an ideal place for holidays.
The place is a starting point for walk and excursions throughout the island.
The local fishermen supply the whole island with fresh fish, oysters, scallops and the famous sardines of the Kalloni Gulf.
In the harbour there are fish taverns where the visitor can enjoy all this while relaxing with the sunset over the opposite mountains of the village of Agra.
Beyond the port stretches the beach with the sand and on the road the tamarisk trees, a beautiful set, where our rooms are also located, with the olive groves in the background to the south.

Thermal Baths
The hot springs of Polichnitos are located at a distance of about 4 kilometers from our rooms. They are classified as the hottest springs in Europe.
The water temperature reaches 92 degrees Celsius. The waters spring from 16 springs through volcanic and porous rocks.
Their operation dates back to the Turkish occupation. In the green forest and the reddish rocks that surround the springs, preserved buildings can be seen,
dating from 1892, such as the Almyropotamos bridge. Their construction is due to a private Christian doctor.
The waters of the springs are chlorinated, which means that in addition to their relaxing properties, they also have therapeutic properties that are recommended
for arthropathies, rheumatic and dermatological diseases, circulatory failure, chronic gynecological diseases, skeletal system injuries.
